Hi there!
I'm Juliette — I study human-centered design.
I enjoy translating user realities and technical constraints into directions and concepts teams can act on.

Featured Projects
Conducted user research with custodial staff to uncover design opportunities for Guild, a company providing education and upskilling benefits to workers.

About me
I’m a senior pursuing a B.S. in Design at Stanford, with a focus on human behavior and multi-stakeholder research.
I grew up immersed in the arts, and came to Stanford as an artist also curious about psychology and entrepreneurship. I knew I wanted to study design when I realized the d.school was a place where those interests could converge.

Studying a needfinding approach to problem solving, I’ve become most excited by human-centered problems where I can connect people, technology, and systems.
I’m particularly drawn to what I think of as ‘low attention, high impact’ problems: products and systems that shape everyday experiences but haven’t been thoughtfully revisited. In that vein, I’ve enjoyed working on office lighting systems to support comfort and productivity, and uncovering how a company providing education benefits can better serve custodial staff.

I focus primarily on the upstream stages of the design process: framing the right problem, understanding users’ deeper needs, synthesizing qualitative insights into clear principles, and forming system concepts.
Alongside my design projects, I've continued my art practice in oil painting.
